Summer St. John VI/ Hurricane season info:
It’s all about the beaches and the laid back vibe. Yup it’s little hotter. But the beaches are a lot quieter so you are going to spend a lot more time there wading in and out of the sea. The water is also calmer making it a great time to snorkel. All of our cottages include snorkel gear. We do not experience the extreme weather fluctuations you might be accustomed to in the states, For August, September and October our highs are upper 80’s on average and lows are upper 70’s on average. Up in the hills it cools off a little more but you will be taking advantage of the ceiling fans. All of our cottages have ceiling fans through out the house including extra stand up fans if the tradewinds quit. Tortuga Cottage does have AC in the bedroom. The restaurants are slower and for the most part no reservations needed. The locals have more time to slow down and relax so you will be seeing some familiar faces by the end of your visit. The rates are also lower. Be sure to check out our summer package that includes a catered and prepped meal ready for you to put on the grill as well as fun day trip at no extra cost. https://www.calabashcottages.com/st-john-vi-honeymoon-package/ To stay up to date on local events and specials please like our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CalabashCottages/ |
